Take a virtual tour of this exciting garden, started by Elizabeth & Martin Walker in 2005. Some established trees and a small stream attracted us to this site in the New Forest. The soil varies from light sand to heavy clay, so our planting is also varied - from lush tropical to drought lovers - and many dahlias! There are frequent underground springs and seams of gravel which run with water. We have captured this water - and also our roof water - and store it in our old septic tank. It is used to irrigate the entire garden and flush loos! Come and visit this colourful garden in July, August or September under the National Garden Scheme. - www.ngs.org.uk - Willows Open Dates for 2017 - Sat 29th, Sun 30th July, Sat 5th, Sun 6th, August and Sat 2nd, Sun 3rd September. 2pm - 5pm on all dates.
